Final Fantasy Remakes?

It has been rumored since the remake of popular Playstation(R) games such as Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes the the
Final Fantasy series will be remade for the GameCube or even the Playstation 3 if not both. Though Square has not made any
official statements it is heard that the company is waiting to see the success of the remakes of other games and to see how
well Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children do. Advent Children is supposedly a replacement to cover the losses on the Spirits
Within movie, as the movie didn't pull in the ratings nor cash they expected. In many interviews and surveys taken both online
and off gamers and fans of the FF series admitted that they were not at all satisfied with the out come of Spirits Within
and some comments added up to something like, they didn't feel that the movie passed on any of the game except lightly in
the story line.

Final Fantasy 7 Movie?

There have also been rumors that if Advent Children does well enough there may be a box office production of the FF7 game.
Though no sources have come foward yet this seems to be a possibility, Square may be saving this as a surprise for gamers
and fans alike. I will post more news here in the future.
